利用生态科学教育提升高校民族学生自信心和归属感

Advantages of Ecological Science Education on Improving Self-confidence and Reassurance of Ethnic Minorities in Universities

随着高校学生的扩招,在校民族学生的数量和比例在逐年增加,大多数民族学生在学习期间表现出自信心不足和缺乏归属感.生态科学作为许多高校设置专业课程和通识课程的学科,有着与其他学科不一样的特点,表现在其主要研究自然界生态系统的多样性及多样性对生态系统稳定性和生态系统功能发挥的作用.该文重点分析了我国民族地区的生态环境、生态系统类型、生物多样性特点及民族习俗对我国自然生态保护的作用,剖析了与多数非民族学生相比,民族学生在直接接触和认识多样性生态环境和生态系统并参与生态保护中具有客观优势.该文对高校生态科学类课程教学组织提出了建议,强调应重视生态科学的学科特点,积极运用生态科学教育和课程教学提升高校民族学生的自信心和归属感.

With the enrollment expansion of colleges these years, the total number of ethnic minorities is increasing, while these minorities are showing less self-confidence and less reassurance during their study. Ecological science, as one of the main disciplines in many universities, has different characteristics from other disciplines, which focuses on the diversity of ecosystems in nature and contributions of these diversity on stabilization and functions of ecosystems. This study described the types of ecosystems in the remote area where the ethnic minorities live, and contributions of the minorities customs on protection of natural ecosystems; moreover, we compared the ethnic minorities students to non-minorities, found that minorities are better at recognizing and protecting the diversity of ecosystems. At last we gave some advices and suggestions about the ecological science teaching in universities or colleges which the ethnic minorities participate, we hope the teaching of ecological science can improve the self-confidence and reassurance of minorities during their study.
