The current situation of global and Chinese industries of sunscreen cosmetics has been reviewed. The market scale of China in suncare products has ranked second in the world, but the consumption per capita is still far below that of developed countries in Europe and America. The suncare market in China has great motive power in growth because of the diverse preferences in categories for Chinese consumers and the unbalanced sales channels in China. Finally, the future trend of Chinese suncare market has been prospected.
