论江南地域文化与天花藏主人科举观之嬗变

The Southern Regional Culture and the Change of Master Tianhuazang's View of Imperial Exam

天花藏主人是明末清初江南地区的小说家,他的科举观与小说创作都受到了江南地区文化的影响。鼎革时期江南地区经济发达、作家众多,政治环境的变化诱发天花藏主人科举观念的转变,而科举的失败促使他直接转入了通俗小说创作。因此他在表现婚姻故事的同时,也凸显了科举高中、人才举荐、功成身退、归隐田园等故事情节,展示了科举人才与地域文化、政治环境之间不可避免的矛盾与妥协方式。这既包含了天花藏主人对江南诗性文化所固有的情结、对故园山水的依恋,也代表了当时江南文人较为普遍的行为模式。天花藏主人晚年创作了《醉菩提》等作品,又显现了江南文人超脱的佛道思想以及独特的民族思维方式,呈现了社会政治文化与人生际遇之间的错位与互动关系。

Master Tianhuazang is a novelist in the region of southern Yangtze River in later Ming and early Qing Dynasties. His view of the Imperial Examination as well as his novel creation was influenced by the southern culture. During the dynasty changing period in the southern region,developed regional economy,numerous writers,the revival of imperial examination,all of these had an important influence on Master Tianhuazang＇s views about the imperial examination. His failure in the examination made him turned to novel creation. While depicting the stories of marriage,his novels also involves the plots of success in imperial examination,talent recommendation,retirement after achieved personal merits,reclusive life in the countryside,etc.,demonstrating the unavoidable contradiction and compromise between the talents of imperial examination and their regional culture and political environment. This content includes the author＇s innate complex to the southern poetic culture and his attachment to the landscape of his home country,but also represents the general reclusive ideas of the southern elites. His later year work The Drunken Bodhisattva etc.,also demonstrate the transcendental Buddhist and Daoist idea of the southern elites and the unique national way of thinking,showing the malposition and interactive relation between social political culture and individual life encountering.
