砣矶岛 流芳千年的长岛石文化

“Changdao Stone” Enjoys a Good Reputation for Over 1,000 Years

长岛砣矶砚石，源于长岛北部砣矶岛。石材产于砣矶岛磨石嘴村西北部悬崖下的单山泉水眼处。含有绢云母、硬绿泥石、石英、白钛、黄铜、电气石等多种物质，造就了石材金星闪烁，雪浪翻涌，润刚相济的奇特品质。得名“金星雪浪石”。用这种石材雕刻成砚俗称金星雪浪砚。据史料记载，此砚在宋初很有名气，据此推断，当产于宋代以前。

Changdao Tuoji Inkstone springs from Tuoji Island in the north of Changdao. Mined from the mouth of Shanshan Fountain below the cliff to the northwest of Moshizui Village, Tuoji Island, it contains a variety of substances including sericite, chloritoid, quartz, white titanium, brass and tourmaline, which contribute to its unique quality featuring both smoothness and hardness and appearance like glistening gold stars and snow-like surging waves. Therefore, it was named the ＂gold-star and snow-wave inkstone＂ and the inkslab carved from such inkstone was called ＂gold-star and snow-wave inkslab.＂ According to historical materials, such inkslab was well- known in the early Song Dynasty. On this basis, it can be inferred that it was produced before the Song Dynasty.
