摘要
二语隐喻能力是二语学习者掌握目标语的核心能力之一,二语隐喻能力的发展一直是应用认知语言学领域关注的焦点。论文通过回顾、梳理现有国内外相关文献对隐喻能力的理论和实证研究,分析了该领域对隐喻能力的定义、母语与二语隐喻能力的差异、二语隐喻能力的可学性和可教性等问题的主要看法与观点、一致与分歧,探讨此类研究成果对未来二语隐喻能力的理论和实践研究的启示。
As a focus of applied cognitive linguistics,metaphorical competence( MC) in L2 is one of the key competences for L2 learners' accuracy and idiomaticity in the use of target language. This paper first provides a thorough review of the existing literature( theoretical and empirical studies) on MC,and then it analyzes the convergence and divergence on various definitions of MC,differences between MC in L1 and L2,and the learnability and teachability of MC in L2 respectively. Finally,it discusses the implications of these studies on future theoretical and practical studies on MC in L2.
