Squeeze Casting Process and Mould Design for 2A12 Aluminum Alloy Shell

摘要 对2A12铝合金炮弹风帽采用挤压铸造工艺进行试验,介绍了炮弹风帽精化毛坯和模具的设计重点。关键在于使金属液能平稳充型,为此对浇注温度、加压速度、保压时间、模具预热温度等工艺参数进行了调整。结果表明,当模具预热温度为350℃,浇注温度为690~700℃,加压速度为10mm/s,保压时间为10s时,铸件尺寸及性能达到设计要求。 The 2 A12 aluminum alloy shell was produced by squeeze casting process,and the key points of the design of shells and mould were described.The key point of the process is to realize the liquid metal smoothly filling,so specific pressure,mould preheating temperature and other process parameters were adjusted.The results show that with the mould preheating temperature of 350 ℃,the pouring temperature of 690-700 ℃and the pressing speed of 10 mm/s as well as the dwelling time of 10 s,the size and performance of squeezing castings meet the design requirements.
