赤足足迹的整体特征指标在足迹学的研究中起着至关重要的作用,赤足足迹整体特征指标可用于研究赤足足迹、人身分析及人身鉴定。但是由于现场环境的限制、中介质的种类不同和作用力方向大小不同会导致现场足迹的尺寸发生变化,从而使得某些整体特征指标在进行人身分析时会出现较大的误差。因此建立一套稳定的整体特征指标体系十分必要。根据法医解剖学理论知识选取11个特征指标,运用统计学原理计算出最稳定的特征指标,以避免足迹分析与鉴定过程出现较大误差。

An overall characteristic index of barefoot print plays a crucial role in the study of footprint as it is not only applied to the study of barefoot footprint, but also to the personal analysis and identification. However, such factors like the environmental limitations of the scene, diverse types of the medium and different force directions may change the size of the footprint at the scene, causing greater errors in the personal analysis under some overall characteristic indexes. This paper points out the necessity to establish a stable overall characteristic indexes system, selects 11 characteristic indicators based on the theoretical knowledge of forensic anatomy, uses the statistical principles to calculate the most stable characteristic indicators, so as to avoid large errors in the process of footprint analysis and identification.
