摘要
美国高校学生事务管理的发展经历初始期、发展期并在20世纪60年代进入成熟期。在长期的专业化建设中,美国"高等教育标准促进委员会"(简称"CAS")从1986年开始制定高校学生事务管理行业标准,目前已经修订到第九版。该标准每一版的修订都要经过CAS主委会成员的反复论证,其逻辑严密,作用明显,值得学习。我国高校学生工作可适当借鉴其合理内核,划分不同的职能领域并在此基础上细化行业标准,构建框架清晰、要素分明的专业标准及学生事务管理自我评估体系。
The student affairs administration in American universities experienced the initial period,development period and came to maturity in 1960 s. In the long-term process of building the professionalization,the CAS(Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education) started to formulate the professional standards for student affairs in higher education since 1986. It has been revised to the 9 th time. Each revised edition has to be demonstrated repeatedly by the commission of the CAS. The standard has strict logic,which is very useful in practice and it is worth learning. We can draw lessons from its reasonable core by establishing different functional areas. And on this basis,the professional standards are clearly detailed: Building professional standards with framework and elements of clear and self-evaluation system in student affairs.
