大学教师“知识分子”精神式微及其提振路径研究 被引量:4

摘要 中世纪以来,大学继承了宗教作为社会终极价值意义的阐释和守护的职责与使命,成为现代社会终极意义的最高关怀机构。大学教师成为社会的最高代表,这就要求他们要敢于面向公众,超越自身特定的利益立场,从人类社会的整体的角度来回应公共社会中的重大公共问题。大学教师的专业化、有机化和整体性的元话语的丧失,导致大学教师"知识分子"精神的式微。为了提振大学教师的"知识分子"精神,应该提高大学教师自我修养,提升大学教师回应公共问题的思想意识;激活知识分子的业余精神,为大学教师超越性的复归提供精神资源;大学应该积极营造公共空间,为大学教师元话语的回归提供有利环境。 Since the medieval times,the university has inherited the responsibility and mission of religion as the interpretation and guardian of the ultimate value of societyand has become the supreme concern for the ultimate meaning of modern society. And college teachers have become the highest representatives of their society. This requires them not only to dare to face the public and to transcend their own specific interests,but also to respond to the major public issues in their society from the perspective of the human society as a whole. However,the loss of professionalism,organization,and overall meta-discourse of college teachers lead to the decline of the"intellectual"spirit. In order to boost the"intellectuals"spirit,it is necessary that college teachers should improve self-cultivation and enhance the ideological awareness of college teachers in responding to public issues. And it is important to activate intellectuals' amateur spirit and provide spiritual resources for the transcendence of university teachers. At last,the university should create a public space actively and provide an environment for the return of university teachers' meta-discourse.
