The report to19 th CPC National Congress has put forward the idea of speeding up the construction of double first-class and realizing the connotative development of higher education. In the new era,the foundation for the development of higher education is the first-class universities and the first-class undergraduate teaching.First-class universities should have excellent teaching,which is the latest development trend of higher education in and out of China. The undergraduate teaching should fully understand the new situation and key task of higher education in the new era,stand firmly on the foundation,change the concept,improve the undergraduate teaching level,and realize teaching transformation and overtaking.
