The engineering quantity of transmission line expansion foundation is low designed by British standard,which therefore was adopted in many countries of the world.And this standard is of significance to the electric power construction and foreign engineering.Raft foundation is most widely applied in the transmission line expansion.Through a comprehensive and in-depth study of the British standard,and in combination with the Chinese design standard,a comprehensive analysis was conducted on the raft foundation design,providing transmission line design personnel with reference in foreign engineering design.
