特色小镇是依托于地域特色,依赖于特色产业所打造的具有产业功能、文化功能、旅游功能和社区功能的综合开发项目,是城乡一体化的新型城镇化模式。河北省建设特色小镇有利于加快产业聚集、加强生态保护、挖掘历史文化资源以及带动城乡统筹发展。特色小镇的开发应在特质、吸引力和生命力上突显"特色"。
