弗雷泽:知识全球化的里程碑

Frazer: A Milestone of Knowledge Globalization

弗雷泽的《金枝》对人类知识和文学创作都产生了巨大和持久影响力,其中维克里《金枝的文学影响》告诉读者,西方现代派文学的巨匠们是如何从《金枝》中找到创作灵感的。但随着文化人类学自身发生根本性的转向,人们更加关注特定文化的意义编码规则。这便是人类学从"科学"取向,到"解释学"取向的巨大变革。文章就中国文化的实际情况,提出研究中国文化的信仰根脉,不能亦步亦趋地走弗雷泽的"金枝"圣物考察之路,而要回到《山海经》背后的200处产玉之山河之谜,去做实地调研和采样。这就是中国文学人类学研究会同仁们的当下研究思路。

The Golden Bough by Frazer has had tremendous and lasting influence on human knowledge and lit-erary creation. Among the influence, Vickery＇s The Literary Impact of The Golden Bough tells readers how the gi-ants of western modernist literature find their creative inspiration from The Golden Bough. However, with the funda-mental shift of cultural anthropology itself, people pay more attention to the meaning coding rules of specific cul-tures. This is a great shift from the＂scientific＂orientation to the＂interpretation＂orientation.Combining the actualsituation of Chinese culture, this article proposes that to study the roots of beliefs in Chinese culture, we need not tofollow Fraser＇s method of investigating the sacred object,but to return tofield research and sampling of the 200 jade-produced mountains and rivers behind the Book of Mountains and Seas. This is the current research thinking for col-leagues of the Chinese Institute of Literary Anthropology.
