Interpretation of Safety Test of Outward-opening Window

上海市工程建设规范《民用建筑外窗应用技术规程》(DG/TJ 08—2242—2017)于2017年12月1日正式实施。文章首先简述该规范制定的背景,然后基于4类不同高度建筑的风荷载计算,对采用外开窗技术的民用建筑进行研究,形成"外开窗多层建筑允许采用、高层建筑限制使用、超高层建筑禁止使用"的关键技术。为确保外开窗的安全,给出防人员坠落、防窗扇坠落和防坠落装置的3种检测方法,希望对规程的理解和准确执行有所帮助。

Shanghai Construction Standard ＂Technical Specification for Application of Civil Architectural External Windows＂（DG/TJ 08-2242-2017） was formally implemented on December 1, 2017. This article firs briefly introduced the background for the development of this specification; and then conducted a study on the civil buildings using outward-opening window technology based on wind load calculations for four types of buildings with different heights to form a key technology, namely ＂permitted use of outward-opening window in multi-story buildings, limited use in high-rise buildings, prohibited in super high-rise buildings＂. In order to ensure the safety of outward-opening windows, three detection methods are provided to prevent personnel falling, window sash falling and falling prevention devices. It is hoped that this article can help the understanding and accurate implementation of the specification.
