中日韩合作:新起点上再出发

China-Japan-ROK cooperation: we will start from a new starting point

当前世界经济面临逆全球化和贸易保护主义的挑战,新时期中日韩三国进一步加强合作变得更为紧迫。中日韩三国领导人会议时隔两年半再次举行,推动中日韩合作有望在新起点上再出发。

On May 9, 2018, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited Japan, attending China-Japan-ROK leaders meeting and other series of activities, and pointing out that China, Japan and South Korea's economic and trade cooperation has a strong toughness and vitality and rosy win-win cooperation prospect. China, Japan and South Korea all benefits from free trade and advocates free trade. At present, the prevalence of inverse globalization and trade protectionism, China, Japan and South Korea should stand together firmly, maintain the rules-based multilateral free trade system and a clear-cut stand against protectionism and unilateralism. To enhance the level of regional economic integration and accelerate the process of China, Japan and South Korea's free trade negotiations, we should promote an early conclusion of "regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement"(RCEP), leading the push for east Asia economic community blueprint. The trilateral leaders' meeting of China, Japan and South Korea resumed after a period of two and a half years and Premier Li Keqiang's first visit to Japan during his term of office, which is expected to push China-Japan-ROK cooperation to a new height.
