Reform and development of mental health service system in Japan and its enlightenment

This paper elaborated the present situation of the mental health service system in Japan. Based on the analysis above, the paper focused on the problems of the mental health service system in Japan and their causes, and then analyzed the main reform countermeasures and ideas of the Japanese government. The enlightenment to the construction of mental health service system in China was put forward： establishing and improving the classified diagnosis and treatment system of mental health, constructing an efficient community service system, consummating the social security system, and mobilizing various social resources, thereby meeting the actual needs of patients with mental disorders.
