The Cultural Significance of Red Slogans in Traditional Village Landscapes in Southwestern Hunan Province

现存于湘西南传统村落景观中的红色标语,是村落文化与红色文化相结合的一道独特景观,其印证了红色革命根据地产生的历史,见证了革命事件的发生历程,反映了党和国家在不同历史时期的政策方针的实施过程。湘西南红色标语是文化遗产与红色基因的体现,是凝结的文化精神与红色路标,是我们应该保护与传承的红色文化资源。保留传统村落景观中红色标语的文化基因,可激活文明因子,实现红色文化资源的转化共生,能更好地传承红色文化精神,促进资政育人及传统村落文化的建设发展。

The red slogans existant in traditional villages in southwestern Hunan Province form unique landscapes that combine village culture with red culture. They witnessed history of the formation of red revolutionary bases, the revolutionary events and the execution of Party and State policies in different historical periods. The slogans which embody cultural heritages and red gene are landmarks for red culture which deserve well preservation. Maintenance of the red slogans in the villages helps materialize red culture and in turn facilitate the inheritance of Red Spirits and promotion of the villages＇ development.
