Second Reflection on French Revolution and Wordsworth's Passive Romanticism

法国大革命对现代社会的影响是广泛而深刻的 ,是大革命造就了华兹华斯及其艺术个性。尽管由于历史的局限 ,华兹华斯对法国大革命的历史意义肯定不足 ,但他对其所作的批判却见解独到 ,意义深远。

French Revolution has rendered a tremendous and lasting impact on the modern society. It is French Revolution that shaped Wordsworth and his artistic features. Though, owing to some historical limitations, Wordsworth couldn't see enough of the bright side of the French Revolution, still, he had some original insight in his attacks and proved himself a poet of far reaching significance.
