Melissa Lorraine Shortall,a teacher from South Afria,taught English in China for three years before she recently （in July）returned to her home country.During the time she stayed in Beijing,she took in a teaching program in Mentougou,a district in the western suburb of the Chinese captial.Every Tuesday, she visited Qingshui School,located in a mountain in Mentonggou.She used interesting tesching methods to local students＇ interest in English,and she encouraged all of her students to speak English.
