Xi Jin-ping's socialist economic thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era has a rich scientific connotation. It is the latest theoretical achievement of Marxist political economics and socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics. Theory comes from practice. The practical foundation of Xi Jin-ping's economic thought is due to his 30 years' experience in grass-roots practice which started in Shaanxi where he had worked for seven years as"an educated youth",accumulated in Hebei and Fujian where he had worked for 20 years,and further developed in Zhejiang and Shanghai where he had worked for five years. The theoretical framework can be summed up as a main content which is a new vision of development; a main line which is supply-side structural reform; three consistent principles which are,we remain in the primary stage of socialism,we must ensure the Party's leadership over economy development and we must commit to a people-centered approach; and three transformations on major contradictions of Chinese society,economic development and developing stage. Theory is to guide practice,so Xi Jin-ping's socialist economic thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era will further promote our country 's economy to achieve the development of high quality and make a louder voice in the global economic governance.
