“长夏”考辨

Discussion on Long Summer

从文字学、音韵学、气象学、地理学等方面对长夏与季夏的关系、长夏的读音与长夏的主时几个问题进行探讨;长夏即是季夏,应读为直良切,意为短之对。长夏指夏季最后一个时段,包括小暑、大暑两个节气,属于"三伏天"范畴。脾主长夏与脾不主时两种说法不冲突,都是中医重视脾胃后天之本的体现。

From the aspects of philology, phonology, meteorology, geography and other aspects, the relationship between the Long summer and the Ji summer, the pronunciation of the Long summer, and the main issues of the long summer are discussed. Long summer is the Ji summer, and it should be read as Zhiliangqie, the meaning is not short. Long summer refers to the last period of summer, including the Slight Heat and C, reat Heat. It belongs to the eategory of Dog days. There is no conflict between the two methods： spleen chief the summer or not.
