Radical interpretation is the basic requirement of a satisfied meaning of the natural language, and it is Davidson who is the pioneer of radical interpretation in the natural language. By inquiring into the characters and construction ideas of Davidson＇ s radical interpretation, I find out that the theo- retical background and mediation tools that make Davidson＇ s radical interpretation possible all derive from modem logic, so that it highlights the impor- tance of thinking philosophical problems with logic ideas and methods, especially the importance of methodology of logic to the study of philosophy.
