“一带一路”战略视角下大学英语教学的中国文化转向

Enhancement of China Culture in College English Teaching from Perspective of “Belt and Road” Strategy

文章以"一带一路"战略为视角,通过对沿线各国语言使用情况的分析,结合当下英语教育现状,提出中国文化元素在大学英语中的强化与凸显能在很大程度上提升中国年青一代用英语表达自身文化的能力,也能促进中国文化在沿线各国的深入交流与广泛传播。接着,文章结合外语课程属性、"一带一路"战略特点等因素,细致地分析和权衡了在大学英语教学中提升中国文化比重的利弊得失,指出该举措具备很高现实可行度。最后,文章从内容引入方式、资源建设方式、教学组织方式三个层面构建出中国文化的强化路径,使大学英语教学的中国文化转向研究更具实际操作价值和推广价值。

By analyzing the language application among countries along the ＂Belt and Road＂ and the current state of English teaching in China, the article points out that the strengthening of Chinese culture in college English teaching is the key to improve students＇ capability of expressing their culture in English and promote the spread of Chinese culture among countries along the＂Belt and Road＂. Then, by approaching factors like the characteristics of foreign language teaching and the ＂Belt and Road＂,the article elaborately proves the high feasibility of the measures. Based on this, the measures is detailedly constructed from three aspects, namely, the way to bring more appropriate Chinese culture into college teaching, the way to transfer those culture contents into teaching materials and the way to handle those materials in teaching.
