摘要
研究了基于互补型双输出马赫增德尔调制器(MZM)的光子时间拉伸模数转换(PTS-ADC)系统及去包络技术。通过理论推导验证了互补型双输出MZM抑制PTS-ADC中二阶谐波产生及脉冲包络去除原理。设计了一种基于互补型双输出MZM的PTS-ADC系统,利用Optisystem软件对该系统进行仿真研究,对频率为80 GHz的RF信号进行模数转换。仿真结果表明,该PTS-ADC系统可以对RF信号实现降频处理及信号恢复,实现了4.11的有效量化位数。
The design of photonic time-stretched analog-to-digital converter( PTS-ADC) system based on complementary dual-output Mach-Zehnder modulator( MZM) was carried out. And the envelope removing technique of PTS-ADC system based on complementary dual-output MZM is also presented. The principle of complementary dual Mach-Zehnder modulators which can suppress second-order harmonic in PTS-ADC is theoretically proved. And a comprehensive mathematical model for envelope removing technique is developed. The PTS-ADC based on dual-output Mach-Zehnder modulators is designed and simulated in the Optisystem software. And the RF signal with frequency of 80 GHz is sampled. The simulation results show that the system can realize the down-conversion processing and continuous sampling of the RF signal,and effective number of bits( ENOB) of 4. 11 is demonstrated.
