The author adopted the SPA floral hoop methodto observe the influence of acupuncture on lympho-cytes T and their subgroup,monoclonal antibody inthe peripheral blood of the patients with solid mali-ghent tumour.The observation was carried out forgroups,the group of herbal medicines(20 cases),the group of herbal medicines combined with acupu-ncture(21 cases),and the controlled group of healthypeople(25 cases).The result found that the influenceof herbal medicines on lymphaeytes T and theirsubgroup is no notable significance,while the sameindices in the group of herbal medicine combinedwith acupuncture were remarkably changed beforeand after the treatment,so the comparison betweenthe two groups has notable significance.The outcomereveals that the mechanism of acupuncture in heighte-ning the immunological function of the patients withtumour is to raise the percentage of the subgroupOKT_3^+ thus adjust the ratio between OKT_4^+ andOKT_8^+.
