The urban expressway system is the main trunk of urban road traffic, and provides the continuous,rapid and large capacity traffic roads to serve the urban middle-distance and long-distance traffics. The article defines the functional positioning and service object of West Changjiang Road Expressway in the planned road network, demonstrates the main technical standards and construction scale, puts forward the overall layout scheme of the whole line, and emphatically discusses the traffic of surrounding road network in West Changjiang Road, the laying form of rail transit collinear section, and the layout of interchange node and ramp.
