In documentary literature Down and Out in Paris and London,George Orwell starts his pilgrimage in search for political salvation by immersing voluntarily into the down-trodden. Orwell presents readers with vivid description of the reality of the lowest class,and also asserts,for the first time,the key idea of all his humanistic view： decency and dignity are the essences that make a fair society,which won him millions of fans and supporters in the later stage.
