摘要
非裔女作家托妮·莫里森的三部曲《宠儿》《爵士乐》《天堂》中主要疯癫人物各自的狂欢行为凸显了疯癫的主要表征:自我割裂的疯癫、智慧的疯癫和躯体的疯癫。奴隶制和种族歧视是小说中疯癫人物渴望狂欢化生活的根本原因,他们的癫狂言行实质是对正统权威的反抗和颠覆,凸显了社会边缘的非常规逻辑和狂欢的世界感受,表达了寻求自我、追求自由平等的狂欢化诉求。
The carnival behaviors of the mad figures in Toni Morrison＇s trilogy,Beloved,Jazz,Paradise,highlight the main characteristics of madness：self-fragmented madness,intellectual madness and somatic madness.Slavery and racial discrimination are the fundamental causes for the mad figures＇desire for a carnival life in the novels.In essence,their madness is the revolt and subversion to the orthodox,which reflects the unconventional logic of people on the edge of society and the experience of the carnival world.It expresses the carnival demands of seeking selves and pursuing freedom and equality.
