身为舞台设计师、服装设计师、陶瓷艺术家、导演、演员和作家的瑞典籍舞台美术家古尼拉·帕姆斯蒂纳-魏斯,通过舞台语言强烈表达了作为设计师更宏观的剧场理念。她与彼得·魏斯、英格玛·伯格曼、彼得·布鲁克、弗里茨·科特纳等欧洲知名导演有着紧密合作,她的作品承载了深刻的社会意义及人文关怀、重视视觉语汇的统一性、深化戏剧主题,加强了剧场空间与观众之间的联系,引发了广泛的社会共鸣,促进了20世纪后期的舞台美术发展。
Gunilla Palmstierna-Weiss, a Swedish stage designer, costume designer, ceramic artist, director, actress and writer, is well known for conveying grander theatre concept with stage language. She has closely worked with European directors including Peter Weiss, Ingmar Bergman, Peter Brook, Fritz Kortner, etc. Her design, with profound social significance, humanistic concern, and unity in visual vocabulary, has strengthened the tie between theatre space and the audience, arousing public attention and promoting the development of late 20th century stage design.
