Current National Security in Liberia and China's Peacekeeping Force's Strategy in Liberia

当前,中国和利比里亚已正式确立全面合作伙伴关系,中利关系进入历史最好时期。自2003年我国正式向利比里亚派出第一支维和警队至今,中国维和警察为利比里亚的和平建设发挥了积极作用。对利比里亚政治局势、社会治安形势以及当地警察执法能力现状及需求的分析,有利于我国维和警队科学部署警力、合理配备装备器材,进而加强自身能力建设,提升中国维和警队在任务区的影响力和话语权。

Nowadays China and Liberia have formally established comprehensive cooperative partnership. The relations between the two countries can be seen as the best throughout the history. Since China officially sent the first peacekeeping police force to Liberia in 2003,Chinese peacekeeping police force has played a positive role in the peace building. Based on the analysis of the political situation,social security,and the situation and demand of the local law enforcement capacity,Chinese peacekeeping police force can be deployed scientifically,the equipment can be used rationally,and eventually our capacity can be built up and our influence and power of discourse can be improved.
