主流思维是指中国共产党基于无产阶级、人民大众立场,严格依照马克思主义辩证思维方法和借鉴现代科学思维方法,对中国革命、建设和改革的道路前途所进行多维分析、综合、判断和推理的认知过程,以及自觉构建的科学思维模式与方法。从结构逻辑来看,主流思维主要体现为马克思主义立场观点方法、以爱国主义为核心的民族精神和以改革创新为核心的时代精神、正确解答现实问题的思维模式与方法。从形成机制来看,主流思维形成和发展的客观条件是党情国情世情、优秀历史文化和人文地理环境,根本动力是中国特色社会主义建设实践,内核和灵魂是社会主义核心价值体系和核心价值观,根本培育方式是思想政治教育,必要手段是现代科学思维方法和科学技术。从形态形式来看,中国特色社会主义创新思维是主流思维的当代形态,"摸着石头过河"和"顶层设计"相结合是其主要呈现形式,新时代的主流思维集中体现为以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为本质内核的战略思维、创新思维、辩证思维、法治思维和底线思维。
