论刘知几《史通》的小说叙事观

唐前"小说"归于子部,多和"经"部对举,侧重在"说"。唐后多和"史"部对举,重其叙事,打上史学的印记。在这个转变过程中,刘知几《史通》的小说叙事观所起作用值得重视。其观点大致包含三方面内容:一是小说应以"叙事为宗";二是叙事以"附于物理"为准;三是小说叙事与历史叙事有"流俗""雅正"之分。刘知几的小说叙事观对唐人小说观及小说创作有着深远的影响。
