The present situation of high-rise building escape refuge facility and related standards in China and other countries were analyzed. The scope of application,usage method of different escape refuge facilities were introduced,and the technical characteristicswere compared. The related standards in several countries were introduced and compared. It was considered that,the escape refuge facilities in other countries were more innovative,have more varieties,more products,and higher popularity rate. The standard in China is more systematic,more fine classified and has greater coverage.
