针刺戒烟的临床观察

Clinical Observation on Giving up Smoking with Acupuncture

本人于毛里求斯进行针灸教学工作期间,在毛国卫生部长的要求下,进行针刺戒烟工作,并获得较好疗效,现报道如下。临床资料凡自愿要求针刺戒烟的各业人员。

The article introduces the clinical observation ongiving up the addiction of smoking with acupunct-ure.Altogether 254 patients were treated and themethod is as follows:1)Body acupuncture:needl-ing Yingxiang,Dicang.Hegu,and Zusanli,allbilateral and needles connected with electric appara-tus,30 minutes in each time,once daily;2)Earacupuncture:selecting Ear-Shenmen,Mouth,Lung,and stomach only on one ear each time which arestuck with Semen Vaccariae.As the result,169 ca-ses fully gave up smoking(66.54%);47 cases hadmarked effectiveness(18.50%);30 had some effect(11.81%);and 8 were unchanged(3.15%).
