The unit of theFmodynamic temperature, the kelvin, is one of the seven base units of International System of Units. High accuracy measurements of thermodynamic temperature in the low- temperature range, namely below tile neon triple point at 24.5561 K, are of strategic significance for the development of both cutting-edge scientific researches and large scientific facilities, such as the Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), the Beijing Elec- tron-Positron Collider Ⅱ, Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility and so on. To meet high accuracy cryogenic temperature measure- ment, the low-temperature primary thermometry calibration facilities based on thermodynamic temperature standards are essential. However, China has not yet set up any primary ther- mometry below 24.5561 K.
