This paper introduced a special cutter used for honing of large diameter hole. This cutter solved the problem that the tradi-tional honing machine was overstressed in the machining of large diameter hole. It explained the structure of this cutter. Finally, the cutter is successfully used in the old honing machine and completing machining tasks.
