英语专业小说文本阅读和写作相结合的改革实践

The Practice of Improving English Majors' Writing Ability by Reading English Novels

写作能力是外语教学强调的核心技能之一,但是英语专业的写作教学存在着诸多问题。小说文本阅读是英语专业学生提高语言基本功和文化素养的重要途径。本研究将小说阅读和写作课相结合,实践结果表明大量的小说阅读有利于提升英语专业低年级学生的写作兴趣和写作能力。要想取得更好的效果,教师要更新教学理念和评价机制,学生则要相应的改变学习方式。

Writing ability is one of the core skills emphasized in foreign language teaching, but many problems occur in the teaching process of English writing. Novel reading is an important means of improving English major students＇ linguistic competence and cultural literacy. This study combines novel reading and the teaching of writing, and the practical results show that a large number of novel reading is conducive to improving the writing interest and writing ability of English majors. To achieve better results, teachers should update their teaching ideas and evaluation methods, and students should change their learning styles accordingly.
