摘要
本研究对湖北工业大学外国语学院英语专业2013级到2015级620名学生大二及大三阶段学习进行了调查,对其中10名学生开展了访谈,旨在探究湖北工业大学英语专业创新教育实施的方式及其效果。本研究同时对创新班建立前后英语专业学生整体水平进行了比较。研究发现创新班的设置有助于提高学生的学术创新能力和学科竞赛水平。本文在总结研究结果的基础上,指出了英语专业创新教育的多种途径,并预测了该领域未来可能的发展方向。对其他高校语言类专业创新教育的开展也具备借鉴意义。
A survey was made to 620 students from Foreign language school in Hubei University of Technology on their studying situation and interviews were given to 10 students for the purpose of summing up the features of innovative education of English major. The findings found that the launch of innovation class can bring great benefits in improving students' ability in academic innovation and academic competition. Besides, the on the basis of the conclusions, the pedagogical implication of the research was pointed out and the trend of the study in this field was predicted. It also has referential value towards the language major in some other universities.
