摘要
Charles C. Fries是美国结构语言学的代表人物之一,他的语言交际理论和信号意义阐释对双语词典文化信息的设置具有重要的指导意义。本文以Fries的语言理论为指导,探讨了双语词典文化信息设置的必要性,作者认为文化信息的有效渗透有利于发挥双语词典的文化交际功能。
Charles C. Fries＇ theory of language communication and profound interpretation of signal meaning make him unique among his other contemporary linguists. This paper attempts to explore Fries＇ linguistic theory and illustrate the necessity of cultural information designing in bilingual dictionaries.
