摘要
是镜为权勿用原型之说来自金和为《儒林外史》所作的跋语,但由于在具体事件的发生时间、人物行迹与小说情节的对应以及人物性情等各个方面都存在着根本性的差异,是镜并非《儒林外史》中权勿用的原型。通过人物关系、姓氏、行迹、性情等各个方面的考索和对照可以知道,权勿用的原型人物应当就是在诸多领域都卓有建树的浙东学者全祖望。作为原型人物的全祖望,能够让我们对权勿用以及小说中的相关叙述有更深的了解。吴敬梓巧妙地借用了全祖望毁誉交加的言传现实,塑造了权勿用这一经典的小说形象。
The statement that Shi Jing was the archetype of Quan Wuyong originated from the postscript written by Jin He for The Scholars,however,since there existed fundamental disparities between the two characters in the activities of their respective life course and disposition,Shi Jing was not exactly the archetype of Quan Wuyong.By a comprehensive research and comparison of the two mens personal relations,family names,life experiences and disposition,the archetype of Quan Wuyong was undoubtedly Quan Zuwang,a versatile eastern Zhejiang scholar.From Zuwangs personal experience we could have a better understanding about the character Quan Wuyong and the related descriptions in The Scholars.By aptly utilizing the facts and rumors in or against Zuwangs favor,Wu Jingzi created the classical fictional image of Quan Wuyong.
