中华人民共和国驻柬埔寨王国大使熊波致辞

中柬是传统友好邻邦。两国友好交往和商贸往来历史可以追溯到1000多年前的吴哥时期。通过海上丝绸之路,中国的瓷器、漆器,柬埔寨的香料、黄蜡,源源不断送达对方民众手中。暹粒巴戎寺的壁画上就雕刻有古代中国商人同柬埔寨人民互通往来的生动情景。1958年,独立不久的柬埔寨同中国建交,掀开了当代中柬友好新的一页。在西哈努克太皇和中国几代领导人的精心培育下,中柬传统友谊历久弥新,焕发出新的生机与活力。

China and Cambodia are traditional friendly neighbors. The friendly exchanges between China and Cambodia date back to the Angkor period over 1000 years ago. Through the Maritime Silk Road, porcelains and lacquerwares from China were introduced to the Cambodian people, and so were spices and beeswax from Cambodia to the Chinese people.
