摘要
本文将Hotelling模型引入保险市场的分析中,结合保险市场的特点,推导出了保险服务渠道的变化与市场透明度和渠道成本的关系,以及不同的渠道对消费者和社会福利的影响。研究结果显示,低成本的渠道对市场主体和社会福利都是有利的,且不同的市场购买情形影响不同;随着市场透明度的提高,社会福利增大,低成本的渠道优势更大。
Based on the characteristic of the insurance market in China, we investigate the relationship between the changes of insurance intermediary services, the market transparency and the intermediary costs, as well as the different impact on the social welfare result from the intermediary by introducing the hotelling model into the analysis of Chinese insurance market. The research shows low-cost intermediary will have positive impact on the market and social welfare, and different market buying shows different influence; the low-cost intermediary advantages more with the improvement of market transparency and the increasing of social welfare.
