From Construction to Reflection:Outline of “A Study of the History of Modern Chinese Literature”(1949-1990)

中国现代文学学科近70年的历史,若以1980年为界,则1980年前,是"一体化"的左翼学科;之后,则呈现各家争鸣的气象。若进一步细分,则又可以1990年为界,从1980年到1990年,重在反思;1990年后,百花齐放。"中国现代文学学科史案研究"(1949-1990)着重考察学科前40年,侧重于以学者为符号,旨在选取标志性的人物(王瑶、唐弢、王晓明、陈思和、钱理群、陈平原)及其著作(含教科书),从"观点—立场—方法"的角度剖析该学科如何被构建,怎样被反思,并期待为进一步消化与整理1990年后的学科史,提供踏实的思想-学术准备。

Chinese modern literature as a discipline has a history of nearly 70 years, in which 1980 can be regarded as a boundary. Before 1980, it was the ＂integrated＂ left-wing discipline; afterwards, more voices could be heard. If subdivided, 1990 can be another watershed. From 1980 to 1990, more attention was paid to reflectiom after 1990, a hundred schools of thought appeared. ＂A Study of the History of Chinese Modern Literature＂ （1949-1990） focuses on the first 40 years of the discipline. It analyzes the reflection as well as the construction of the discipline from the perspective of ＂point of view-position- method＂. It also looks forward to providing pragmatic ideas and academic preparation for further digestion and collation of the post-1990 academic history.
