Discussion on the Theoretical Basis for Treating Eczema by Shenque(CV8)

神阙为任脉要穴,藏先天真阳,候脾土之气,通百脉,调脏腑。通过对神阙穴的古今认识,发现神阙穴的功能主治与湿疹的发病机制有较好的契合性。认为神阙穴治疗湿疹具有坚实的理论基础。

As the main points of Ren channel, Shenque can regulate the internal organs through containing congenital genuine -YANG, spleen-Qi and connecting all vessels. Research on the ancient and modern congnition on Shenque, we find that the pathogenesis of eczema dovetails Shenque indications, laying a solid theoretical foundation for the treatment of eczema by Shenque.
