摘要
无线片上网络中,由于线间串扰,噪音以及瞬时故障等问题,链路中数据包传输的可靠性面临极大的挑战,严重影响了网络整体性能,因此针对链路的容错设计显得尤其重要。针对这一问题,提出一种新型的混合容错模型。该模型针对有线链路瞬时故障,设计了一种改进的e2e重传机制,对数据包头微片和体微片进行分类编码,增强网络容错能力;针对无线链路瞬时故障,将传统的s2s方案应用于无线链路。实验表明,方案较传统的e2e方案减少了42.6%的网络延时,提高了36.5%的吞吐量;较传统的s2s方案减少了1.56%的面积开销以及13.2%的功耗开销。
Due to the crosstalk between lines,noise and transient faults,the reliability of the data packets in the link poses great challenges in wireless on-chip network,which seriously affects the overall network performance. Therefore,fault-tolerant design of links is especially important. To address this issue,a new hybrid fault tolerant model is proposed. An improved end-to-end retransmission scheme is designed for the transient failure of wired links. This scheme uses a The classification coding is utilized for package head microchip and body microchip to enhance network fault tolerance. Aiming at the transient failure of the wireless link,an improved switch-to-switch scheme is applied to the wireless link. Experiments show that,compared to traditional end-to-end scheme,the network delay is reduced by 42. 6%,the throughput is increased by 36. 5% with the proposed design. Compared to the traditional switch-toswitch scheme,the area cost is reduced by 1. 56% and power consumption is reduced by 13. 2%.
