摘要
相位噪声是带通通信系统设计及实现中必须考虑的关键问题之一。以带通传输参考脉冲簇(Transmitter Reference Pulse Cluster,TRPC)超宽带(Ultra-wideband,UWB)通信系统为研究对象,分析了由发射机端及接收机端晶体振荡器所产生的相位噪声对系统误码性能的影响。利用相位噪声的一般性模型,推导了存在相位噪声情况下的系统误码率理论表达式,进而评估在密集多径传播环境中相位噪声对TRPC-UWB通信系统误码性能的影响。最后,给出了在实际的IEEE 802.15.4a信道模型中以及存在相位噪声的情况下,TRPCUWB通信系统误码性能的半解析实验结果。
Phase noise is one of major issues that must be considered in the design and implementation of bandpass communication systems. This paper presents the noise analysis for band-pass transmitted reference pulse cluster(TRPC) ultra wide band(UWB) communication systems and evaluates bit error probability(BEP) in the presence of phase noise inherent in local oscillators. Employing a unified model of phase noisy oscillators,a theoretical BEP expression is derived to evaluate the impact of phase noise on the BEP performance of TRPC-UWB communication systems in dense multipath channels. Correspondingly,semi-analytical results are also presented and discussed under the realistic IEEE 802.15.4 a channel models.
