Beimeng Suoyan by Sun Guang-xian is a well-known literary sketch of the Five Dynasties. With poetic literature mainly on masterpieces,hot events in poetic field and anecdotes of poets in west Sichuan,it is prominent in its documentary and regionalism. All those content with rich literature of classic Chinese literature provide original documents to the later generations for the better understanding of poetic field of Tang and the Five Dynasties as well as the dissemination and reception of poets and their poems.
