Combining the characteristics and management elements of the environmental testing laboratory, the design concept of the laboratory information management system（LIMS）in the environmental testing laboratory was proposed, and the main functional module content and the necessary conditions for implementing the LIMS were introduced in detail. Exploring through the establishment of LIMS to comprehensively improves the detection efficiency and laboratory management of environmental testing laboratory.
