东中西部收入差距影响因素分析

Analysis of Factors Influencing Income Disparity in the Eastern,Central and Western Regions

利用CHIP微观数据,用一种较为简便的方法测算了东中西部地区的基尼系数及泰尔指数,并通过构建扩展后的明瑟收入模型对东中西部收入差距的影响因素进行实证分析。研究表明:东部地区居民收入水平较高,收入差距较大;中西部地区收入水平相差不大。居民收入水平与性别、民族、学历、年龄、婚姻状况有着显著的影响。其中性别与学历因素对居民收入影响最大,居民收入水平与年龄存在显著的倒U型关系。最后在研究结论的基础上提出相应缩小东中西部收入差距的政策建议。

This paper calculates the Gini Coefficient and the Theil Index with CHIP micro data in a relatively simple method. The influence factors of the income disparity in the eastern,central and western regions are empirically analyzed through extended Mincer income model. According to the research,the residents in the eastern region have higher income level and a bigger income gap; the income gap in the central and western regions is not big. Residents＇ gender,ethnicity,educational level,age and marital status have significant impact on income level. Among them,the factors of gender and education have the greatest impact on the residents＇ income.There is an inverted U-shaped relationship between income level and the age. On the basis of the conclusion of the study,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to narrow the income gap in the eastern,central and western regions.
