场域的政治动员:微信与海外华人政治参与

On Field of Political Mobilization: Wechat and Political Participation of Overseas Chinese

微信作为在海外华人当中广泛使用的社交媒体,在华人社会当中形成了政治参与和动员机制,创建了具有独特形态的场域。海外华人利用微信开展各种政治助选活动,以体现华人的意志,已经在美国总统和法国总统大选,以及在其他国家的政治活动中得到充分实践。本文以海外华人利用微信实践政治参与作为切入口,探讨微信在作为少数族群媒体时所形成的独特场域,并在华人参与当地政治活动中展现特殊的政治动员功能,指出其在介入华人所在国的政治竞选所面临的争议甚至政府打压的后果,提醒华人要合法合理地利用微信在当地参与政治活动。

As a social media which is widely used among overseas Chinese , Wechat forms po - litical participation and mobilization system f establishes special pattern field among Overseas Chi - nese society . Overseas Chinese use We Chat to carry out various political electing activities f embody the will of Overseas Chinese f and have been fully practiced on political activities of president elec - tion in the United States and France , as well as other countries . This article is based on political participation of overseas Chinese who use Wechat to take part in political activities f explores special field formed by WeChat as a minority media , and shows the special function of political mobilization on Overseas Chinese participation in the local political activities , points out when Overseas Chinese regards Wechat as public opinion weapon to take part in political activities , they will face disputes and government pressure . In this way this article reminds Overseas Chinese people use WeChat le - gally and rationally to participate in local political activities .
